Lesson Learned: Troubleshooting
I don’t think I’ve really delved back into blogging since the Stanley Cup Finals (SCF). Not because of devastation or disappointment from the run… but because I hadn’t really made the effort. Well, that and I’m just plain lazy which is the same thing. From even before the SCF til now, I’ve been bookmarking and starring items (a là Google Reader) a bunch of posts I’ve seen that I want to mention and talk about later when I had the time. I remember I had maaaany… above 550 items that I wanted to share my thoughts (hence the name of my blog… duh).
Tonight was the night of blogging fury and get some posts lined up for the next couple days (possibly weeks worth if I made that decision to get Starbucks after 7pm). I logged on and did that routine of fn+right arrow key to go all the way to the very beginning (or very last, however you look at it) post. I noticed that Google Reader doesn’t count the items what you star anymore so I just shrugged that off. I continued to press those keys until the scrolling came to a halt (strange because it usually takes a couple of minutes to get all the way down to the first (or last, however you look at it) post and at the bottom read “You have no more items”. How can that be? I know I had hundreds of posts stretching back from the beginning of the year!!! They can’t be all gone?! What’s going on?!
***Update: This is how I usually work. I complain first… and then complain some more. Then I get a light bulb and try something that could make whatever work again. And whaddya know? It works. So disregard what I said above. I got my posts back. All’s good and get ready for some posts next month. It’s late, I have a long day tomorrow, and it’s the Christmas season!! Oh, maybe I should do a Christmas post, eh?
Thanks for reading another one of my rants.
