This September, Licia Ronzulli, Italy’s MEP, attended a voting session of European Parliament with her baby girl in order to draw attention to women’s rights.
Well, September 2010. Anyway, this is great. Not to diminish the greatness, but I bet the baby is probably not the only one sleeping while Parliament was in session. In high school, I went to the Parliament buildings in Victoria, BC as a class field trip. It was Question Period, and not a lot of MLAs were there… worse time to go… zzzzzz. Other than “listening” in, the actual tour of the building was cool. I liked that part.
